He won by 1 sos point from Alexandr Dinerchtein, and on equal 7 wins with Ilya Shikshin and Pal Balogh. There were several side events, including a 13x13 where Francesco Marigo was the winner and a 9x9 won by L.C. Nicolaie. Hong Seok-Ui retained the rapid tournament title with 7/9. Results
