Sweden and Germany Proposal for AGM 2004, Tuchola, Poland IGF Membership Fees for European Countries The classification of European IGF members with respect to the IGF membership fee is slightly out of date. We suggest that it is easier for the EGF than for the IGF to keep the classification updated and propose that the EGF should be made responsible for this. Moreover we suggest that the same size measure should be used as in the pairgo selection, i.e. the size is calculated as the smaller number of the following two numbers 1) The number members that the national association has paid for as EGF fee the previous year. This number is at least 100. 2) Twice the number of players in the country with rating GoR > 1000 in the official EGF rating list of December the previous year. Countries with a size greater than 500 should fall into class B with respect to IGF fee and countries with a size of 95 or larger into class C. All others should pay the IGF fee for class D. For 2004, the new classification becomes: Group B ( 4 x 48000 Yen ) Germany, size: 1613 France, 948 United Kingdom 690 Netherlands 508 Group C (14 x 24000 Yen) Russia, 280 Czechia, 200 Italy, 194 Sweden, 141 Finland, 107 Belgium, 100 Hungary, 100 Poland, 100 Romania, 100 Switzerland, 100 Spain, 100 Ukraine, 100 Slovenia, 98 Austria, 96 Group D (14 x 12000 Yen) Slovakia, 82 Serbia-Monten., 80 Denmark, 68 Norway, 58 Croatia, 48 Lithuania, 40 Bosnia, 36 Ireland, 26 Luxemburg, 22 Israel, 10 Armenia, 6 Turkey, 6 Belorussia, 4 Portugal, 0 Total fees: 696 000 Yen This is to be compared with the IGF budget for this year, where the European countries were classified as follows: Group B: France, Germany, Netherlands, U.K. (4 x 48000 Yen) Group C: Austria, Croatia, Czech R., Denmark, Hungary, Israel, Norway, Poland, Russian Fed., Serbia & Montenegro, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland (13 x 24000 Yen) Group D: Armenia, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Finland, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Turkey, Ukraine.
