Jan Simara won the Pro Qualification tournament to become the 9th European Professional Go player.

Jan won the Final against Lukas Podpera. He fought hard and won two games on the last day of the tournament. Jan came back from behind in both Round 1 (vs Oscar Vazquez) and Round 3 against Lukas Podpera, while he also won Round 2 in a third deciding game, against Benjamin Teuber.
