Building the next generation of top-level Go players!


After a (too long) break, the EGF Academy is back! The EGF Academy will provide a high level learning environment to motivated talents, thanks to the help of professional players.

The Academy is organised in cycles of two months with games, lectures, problem-solving and much more.

The Program

The EGF Academy expects from the students a commitment to learning, with about 4h a week devoted to Go.
Students, of course, must respect other students, the teachers, and observe sportmanship in all situations.

Lectures & Reviews

Live lectures and reviews by professional teachers, based on your games.

Supervized training

Solve exercises and problems to improve your skills and reading, with guidance from the teachers.

League System

Serious and regular league games to apply your learning and improve.

Interactive learning

You'll get direct feedback from the teachers and can ask them questions in the "study room".

Community

Train alongside other European rivals and make some friends!

Lecture Archive

Access recordings and study materials from past seasons to review at your own pace (currently the archives are empty).

Tanguy dedicates his life to the study of Go. He represented Europe in several international events in Asia, competing with top professionals.

Who can join? And how?

  • Player under 21 years old
  • Minimum level of 5 kyu
  • Need to understand English
  • Committed to attend classes and improve!

Tuition fees

The rate is 35€ per month. A full cycle is 2 months. The collected fees are used to pay the teachers and promote the Academy.
