Qualification tournament for the 6th World Baduk Championship - for half veterans (born 1980 or earlier)

The 6th World Baduk Championship will take place on a beach resort in the south of South Korea in June. 16 players from Asia, Oceania, North America and Europe will participate, all born in 1980 or earlier. OhMyGo Experimental Blitz Tournament - A New Form of Go Entertainment

Nowadays, it is common for Go tournaments to be broadcast on online servers, often accompanied by live commentary. Whilst enjoyable, this is slow-paced and requires a dedicated audience to watch it in full. The recent success of Speed Chess tournaments made the OhMyGo team (Ondrej Kruml and Franta Caha from Czechia) wonder if fast-paced Go entertainment could be possible as well.
