EGF Go Development Summit

The European Go Federation (EGF) and the Turkish Go Association (TGOD) are officially launching the EGF Go Development Summit during the 68th European Go Congress in Ankara. This summit is designed as a permanent platform dedicated to the intellectual, pedagogical, and structural advancement of Go across Europe.
Moving beyond traditional lectures, the program features a dynamic blend of keynote speeches and moderated roundtable panels where experts and the audience actively engage in generating concrete, policy-oriented outcomes.

CALL FOR SPEAKERS & PANELS (Open Theme)
We invite community members, academics, and professionals to share insights on Go pedagogy, cognitive development, game theory, club governance, AI's impact, or history. You can propose a Traditional Presentation, a Moderated Panel, or a Poster Presentation. No formal academic paper is required to apply.
CALL FOR PROJECTS: EQUALITY & PARTICIPATION Focused on "Empowering the Women Go Player Population," this call seeks concrete, actionable initiatives to overcome structural barriers and achieve "equalizing justice" in our ecosystem.
Prizes & Support (For Project Winners):
Financial Grants: 1st Place: €200 | 2nd Place: €150 | 3rd Place: €100
EGF Pilot Project Status: Selected projects will receive institutional mentorship from EGF management and academics to be implemented across Europe.
