The 29th European Go Congress

The Congress was held on Terschelling, an island off the north coast of the Netherlands.
Winner was Dutch 7 dan Ronald Schlemper. 2nd was Matthew Macfadyen (UK) after a play-off with Pierre Colmez (France). There were 283 players.
The weekend tournament (236 participants) was also won by Ronald Schlemper. Second was Pierre Colmez and third Martin Mueller (Austria).

Jean Michel won the Lightning and Den Bosch Reunion (Janssen, Claasen and Cremers) won the town team event.
