In 2024, we continue with the "live" events only. Since we want to announce the events starting soon as early as possible, we welcome all organizers who want to held a SEYGO events in 2024, especially in autumn 2024. As defined in the rules, the 29th EYGC in Hamburg, March 21-23, 2024,  counts toward the final list of points won in the SEYGO Season Six.

Four SEYGO events, with venues and dates are ready:

1. SEYGO Vatra Dornei, February 20-24, 2024
2. SEYGO at EGC, July 26-27, 2024
3. SEYGO Zaostrog, August 17-24, 2024
4. SEYGO Istanbul, October 19-20, 2024

The conditions of a SEYGO tournament are well-defined:

• an international youth tournament with participants from at least three countries,
• two age groups (U12 born on 1st January 2012 or later and U18 born on 1st January 2006) with at least 4 players in each age groups,
• "SEYGO system" - five-rounds tournaments with Knock-Outs in each age group starting in the most appropriate moment (games with the large difference in rating should be avoided)
• participation fee per player dependent on the rating (20 EUR for dan players, 15 EUR for single-digit-kyu, 10 EUR for double-digit-kyu), if simpler 15 EUR per player is fine.
• the major part of the fees (at least 75%), and possible sponsorships, should be distributed as EGF/SEYGO Vouchers to the best players (3 top scorers in each age group), by transferring the amount awarded to the EGF account.
