After five successful seasons SEYGO Tour project, we continue with the Season Six, featuring traditional Winter and Summer go festivals in Romania and Croatia respectively, SEYGO at EGC parallel to the Pandanet Team Finals in Toulouse. This year we add Istanbul to the SEYGO map - with many young players in Turkey waiting to compete with youth from other countries. After finishing the 27th European Youth Go Championships in March 2022 as a live-event in Prague, we believe that most of the tournaments in 2022 will be held “live”. Since we are lacking local organizers for “live” SEYGO Tournaments, the SEYGO Tour 2022 will be organized as a series of go-tournaments starting in virtual environment, with two tournaments to be played live during the summer 2022: at the beginning of the European Go Congress in Vatra Dornei, Romania and in Zaostrog, Croatia. After the starting tournament on OGS and two successful live tournaments in Croatia and Romania, we had 26th European Youth Go Championships on OGS as an A-class tournament. The results of 26th EYGC will be used as additional points for all participants of SEYGO Tour 2021. We will have two more stages of SEYGO Tour at the end of November and at the beginning of December 2021. Tournaments will be held as 5 rounds, with knock-outs for best 8 in three last rounds.   Read more...

Unfortunately, the waves of Covid-19 prevented many "live" go-tournaments in 2021. Therefore, we want to start SEYGO Tour 2021 with an online event, but we hope that the situation in Europe will be good enough to have some stages of SEYGO Tour 2021 as "face-to-face" events in safe and pleasant environment.  Read more...

Calendar

The following map shows the venues of SEYGO Tour events in Season Seven 2025. The journey starts in Vienna, Austria, with SEYGO Lanke Cup on February 21-22, 2025. The next venue is Vatra Dornei, Romania, with 30th European Youth Go Championships, March 6-8, 2025. In the middle of the 67th GoDan European Go Congress in Warsaw, July 28-29, 2025, we will have the Stage 2 of the Season Seven.  The third tournament was held during 7th Summer SEYGO tournament in Zaostrog, Croatia, between August 16-23, 2025. The last event of the season will be held in Autumn 2025 in Istanbul.

The SEYGO Tour in 2025 will consist of live tournaments only.
30th European Youth Go Championships, which will be played live in Vatra Dornei, Romania, March 6-8, 2024, will be counted toward SEYGO Tour 2025 Grand Prix.
