After five successful seasons SEYGO Tour project, we continue with the Season Six, featuring traditional Winter and Summer go festivals in Romania and Croatia respectively, SEYGO at EGC parallel to the Pandanet Team Finals in Toulouse. This year we add Istanbul to the SEYGO map - with many young players in Turkey waiting to compete with youth from other countries. We believe that an event in Vienna will be held in Autumn 2024 as the Stage 5.  Read more...

After finishing the 27th European Youth Go Championships in March 2022 as a live-event in Prague, we believe that most of the tournaments in 2022 will be held “live”. Since we are lacking local organizers for “live” SEYGO Tournaments, the SEYGO Tour 2022 will be organized as a series of go-tournaments starting in virtual environment, with two tournaments to be played live during the summer 2022: at the beginning of the European Go Congress in Vatra Dornei, Romania and in Zaostrog, Croatia. After the starting tournament on OGS and two successful live tournaments in Croatia and Romania, we had 26th European Youth Go Championships on OGS as an A-class tournament. The results of 26th EYGC will be used as additional points for all participants of SEYGO Tour 2021. We will have two more stages of SEYGO Tour at the end of November and at the beginning of December 2021. Tournaments will be held as 5 rounds, with knock-outs for best 8 in three last rounds.   Read more...

Unfortunately, the waves of Covid-19 prevented many "live" go-tournaments in 2021. Therefore, we want to start SEYGO Tour 2021 with an online event, but we hope that the situation in Europe will be good enough to have some stages of SEYGO Tour 2021 as "face-to-face" events in safe and pleasant environment.  Read more...

Calendar

The following map shows the venues of SEYGO Tour events in 2024. The journey started in Vatra Dornei, Romania, as a traditional Winter Go Festival on February 20-22, 2024. The next venue is Toulouse, France, just before the opening of the 66th European Go Congress, July 26-27, 2024.  Finally, we know that the Summer SEYGO tournament in Zaostrog, Croatia will be held on August 17-24, 2024. The last event of the season is going to be in Istanbul, Turkey, October 19-20.

The SEYGO Tour in 2024 will consist of live tournaments only.
29th European Youth Go Championships, which will be played live in Hamburg, Germany, March 21-23, 2023, will be counted toward SEYGO Tour 2024 Grand Prix.
